Maijuana for arthritis treatment?

arthritis treatment
Bob asked:

Someone told me smoking weed can help with your arthritis. Is this true or were they just using that for an excuse?

I would guess that is just an excuse. I have arthritis and so I’ve talked to lots of people with it, and this is the first time I’ve ever heard of that. So, I doubt it. Celebrex seems to work pretty well, and costs around 3 dollars a day, if you don’t have insurance. That’s 3 dollars a pill. You might compare that price to the price of the amount of marijuana it is supposed to take to help arthritis.

Well, you’ll be stoned so you won’t care as much, but I’ve never heard that pot cuts inflammation which is what causes the pain in arthritis. I believe pot is used for medical problems that cause you not to want to eat.

I believe it to be true. It increases blood circulation and relieves stiffness. Don’t listen to the people who say it would be an excuse. It helps me.I smoked to relieve my pain instead of taking the Celebrex that was prescibed to me. That shits killing people. Stick to the natural stuff. No one know how severe your disease is

Don’t smoke it drink it very sparingly as a tea along with other supplements for arthritis … That may help you…Smoking pot is toxic and what you want to do is try and rid yourself of toxins not add to them…

Drinking Marijuana has pain killing properties and supposedly some healing ones also… It has something to do with the release of melatonin and some other hormones your body uses to heal itself….

What people don’t know may kill them quicker!~

Hi Bob, I have arthritis and a friend gave me a joint in case there was a time when I needed it.

Well, that day came and I took a few tokes (not the first time I’ve smoked pot), got me high but in no way helped my arthritis.

Now, hemp seed, that might be another matter altogether. Hemp seed contains alot of the essential fatty acids and this could possibly help with arthritis. You eat the hemp seed.

I take a nutritional product that helps me and wouldn’t have really considered marjanna as a treatment for arthritis. I believe most types of arthritis can be dealth with through diet, supplementation and meditation to help deal with stress.
