March 25th marked the opening of contract talks for UHW members at five hospitals operated by Daughters of Charity Health System. Goals for this round of bargaining are based on UHW’s Unity Platform, and include strengthening our already existing patient care committees, winning job security provisions, an end to daily cancellations, improvements to our wages and retirement package, organizing rights, and a single statewide contract for the Daughters of Charity system.
